Hello Everybody Happy 2015 And Now We Shall Make Up For Lost Time And Get Rich Fast! So Here We Go!

             Thursday, 22 January 2014, HAVANA - Hello fellow bloggers to get rich. I owe everyone of you thinking persons who came here to think a dollar. No I am just kidding about that because everyone can see how many visitors we have had to the site, and if I had to pay everyone a dollar I would have to sell all my jeans to all the rum drunk Russians from the spy ship. Just kidding again however we all are starting off on an even footing here so I have just as much money as everybody else (for pretend) and so on with each other. 
         But what I was going to say was, "Oops I really slept in it." I know there we were humming along at learning the fund. . . I mean what fun it was going to be to get rich blogging, and that there was nothing to be afraid of about it at all. I mean after all even I can do it, right, and that must be inspiring to everyone. Neverthemore some (my own phrase I created) I am sorry if anyone was waiting for the next post because it has been ten months to the day I am fairly sure.
      I hope that those who wished went on on their own or with learning materials available on the web for free and all kinds of classes where one might find some of those for free as well. Man it will be something if President Bam-Bam-Obama-Bam gets his way and community two year college is free then there should be all kinds of great classes to take. I am going to take some computer security classes I know because I think that is one area where there will be lots of excitement. Also I really am curious if it is possible to make any computer hooked up to the internet truly secure.
       Anyhow enough rambling ramblers let us get down to it. You do not really need to take notes because I will put them down right here to make it easier and more paperless. We will only focus on a couple things today.

1)     As may not see I have failed it seeems to e made the size of the letters (the font size) larger than past posts which is controlled by the sixth item over in the strip of controls up top namely the one with the two "T"s a smaller and a larger that you click on and use the drop-down menu to control. These often have numbers for different sizing of the letters typed, but in this case we just have a few choices so I went from "normal" to large.
       The reason I did this is since this is "Blog To Get Rich" I figured we might as well use bigger font (if you care to do so) because they say a blog needs to have new content to keep readers coming back. This helps to stretch out our written material if we wish so as not to have to think up as much or take as much time when we have a lot to do.
       It also is easier on the eyes for everyone as looking at the Google "normal" size at least to me it looked a little small. In fact for some people with poorer vision especially often as folks get older as you know it my even enable them to read a blog which they could not before with the smaller font.
       Finally it also is related to the only other point we need to cover today which is advertising, and if you are also using Google Blogger as I am I have some good news about a new development in the past ten months while I was AWOL.

2)     And yes that brings us to point #2 here which is that at least Google has decided to let people have more advertising space to make more money that is shared with Google. I missed this notice for some time but if you are using Google maybe you may find it and see that Google now is allowing a choice of running larger ads, ones where you get to custom choose the size, and also I learned practicing with another web site to let you more ads per page.
       We are not going to review all these choices today because Google says they add up to something like 15,000 new choices! Now remember this is for Google's "Adsense" which you apply for and should get in at no cost if you have done a few posts on your blog. It is okay to use mine as a model if you wish. 
       I am going to sign off in a moment and see what more and bigger ads I can get on the blog that look alright of course. For those actually following along and doing this rather than just reading for kicks or because they are told to or something like that, if there are some of you I realize you might have Tumblr I think or Wordpress or lots of other ways to do a blog. I am not familiar with those so you will have to decide for yourself if this is helpful with those or you may well find others who have written blogs on writing blogs just to help people out.

3)     The last thing you budding bloggers should know is that I am going to try out adding a post or two more and maybe a couple "gadgets" here so the page can hold more ads, and for all I know Google may let one put more ads on the page at least with Adsense if there are more posts to place ads around. I also know you cannot go crazy with that as I think Google might let you put about five or six or the bigger ads at most and then possibly a few of the "link" ads which are just the words underlined going across the page depending on the subject of your blog.

       Okay everyone who is doing it along with me go ahead and give it a try before next time which I am pretty sure should be less than ten months. I will set my alarm clock this time. Those who have not started a blog with any of the different free ones it is really easy now I am sure. You do not need to know computer code, and if you want to you can look over the first posts here. You can catch up in a matte of minutes I would think. Next time we will cover helping each other out by promoting one another's blogs or this one to see if some others wish to join us.

       Thursday, 12 September 2013, GILLIGAN'S ISLAND - Now what kind of a person becomes a blogger is a hard question to answer because if you told a person just a couple score back that that was going to be perhaps an important step they took coursing down the path of life they of course so far as I know would not even have a clue what you might be talking about.        We of the Money clan are generally a very inquisitive bunch so one would expect that one of the first things that we might try to do if we were going to set about blogging would be to look up the etymology of his so-called word "blog". I have never cared for it myself as it sounds like something that a pre-schooler is mispronouncing.
       My first thought would be that like many words in the English language that sound somewhat strange and unrelated to any other words that come right to mind is that it is an onomatopoeia. An ononmatapoeia is a word that sounds like that which it describes. A good example would be a word like "Wow" or "Pow" that in its very pronunciation evokes that from which it derives its meaning. They tended to have a lot of these cartoonesque words on a show like "Batman" when he and Robin ("the Boy Wonder") would get into staged fistfights. These words were literally "thrown" onto the screen like a Jackson Pollack onto a painting with a lot of similar accompanying minor ones representing sounds such as "Zap" and "Zing" and "Zow" and so on.
       I think that that must have been one of the largest cultural influenes on our collective childhood in the waning days of the 1960's. For us it was the small Sony television on the kitchen table with yours truly closest the controls through our leisurely dinner post-late afternoon "Speed Racer" and into the lazy evening hours of the elder Moneys and the cocktail cart while for us Money children it was Gilligan's Island, the Flinstones "a ya-ba-da-ba-doo" time (now there is an onomatapoeia for you), "I Love Lucy" years before we would learn of friends grown older moved west to southern California taunting a drunken Desi Arnez from the Pacific beach behind his home, and then on to a summer evening outdoors or the seminal "Star Trek" and on later to surrealistic beatnik Ratpack thin-tie cool-smoking style of creator Rod Serling introducing another "Twilight Zone".
       Of course we heard about what was going on out in San Francisco by the summer of 1967 but by then too the body count from Vietnam was a growing nightly feature on the news, we just outside of New York where Frank Zappa was playing nightly to a largely suburban audience way out of our league which was definitely still the National, and yes I think in hindsight having come to see it for ourselves although we later heard that by the "Summer of Love" the apex had really already been reached MK-Ultra having made the great Acid experiment a foregone conclusion by the time it found its way into the United States Code Annotated.
       "Further" was retreating back to the tall trees of Oregon really ever since they left the Beatles concert at the Cow Palace too many screaming little girls in their ears, Hells Angels stomped Hunter Thompson south of the Great Highway were in hot pursuit, and back out East we still maybe had a couple more years at least through the decade's finale with one of Rusty Staub's great sliding catches through a seventh-inning watered outfield for the Amazing Mets with Nolan Ryan's sizzlers coming in at easy over one hundered miles per hour. Yes by then they were rounding them up in the urban ghettoes across the country Air America flying them out of Oakland for some very short tours of duty in the jungles of southeast Asia the body bags returning by night filling the cargo bays of the C-130's headed for the long morgues astride Doyle Drive ramping up to the Golden Gate still guarded by the Nike missile sites littering the woods of the Presidio and over in Marin the hills of Fort Barry on a world already starting to go from Cold to just a bit too warm....
       And already the technology looking for a purpose in transition through New Mexico but they already were on their way the smiling Macs getting ready to come around the corner of the approaching decades and not all that far behind here we are the bloggers come along E-Z heck any money invaders spread out to every corner of the earth, Hey, hey, with the Moneys, we're just moneying around. . . .
