Thursday, 22 January 2014, HAVANA - Hello fellow bloggers to get rich. I owe everyone of you thinking persons who came here to think a dollar. No I am just kidding about that because everyone can see how many visitors we have had to the site, and if I had to pay everyone a dollar I would have to sell all my jeans to all the rum drunk Russians from the spy ship. Just kidding again however we all are starting off on an even footing here so I have just as much money as everybody else (for pretend) and so on with each other.
But what I was going to say was, "Oops I really slept in it." I know there we were humming along at learning the fund. . . I mean what fun it was going to be to get rich blogging, and that there was nothing to be afraid of about it at all. I mean after all even I can do it, right, and that must be inspiring to everyone. Neverthemore some (my own phrase I created) I am sorry if anyone was waiting for the next post because it has been ten months to the day I am fairly sure.
I hope that those who wished went on on their own or with learning materials available on the web for free and all kinds of classes where one might find some of those for free as well. Man it will be something if President Bam-Bam-Obama-Bam gets his way and community two year college is free then there should be all kinds of great classes to take. I am going to take some computer security classes I know because I think that is one area where there will be lots of excitement. Also I really am curious if it is possible to make any computer hooked up to the internet truly secure.
Anyhow enough rambling ramblers let us get down to it. You do not really need to take notes because I will put them down right here to make it easier and more paperless. We will only focus on a couple things today.
1) As may not see I have failed it seeems to e made the size of the letters (the font size) larger than past posts which is controlled by the sixth item over in the strip of controls up top namely the one with the two "T"s a smaller and a larger that you click on and use the drop-down menu to control. These often have numbers for different sizing of the letters typed, but in this case we just have a few choices so I went from "normal" to large.
The reason I did this is since this is "Blog To Get Rich" I figured we might as well use bigger font (if you care to do so) because they say a blog needs to have new content to keep readers coming back. This helps to stretch out our written material if we wish so as not to have to think up as much or take as much time when we have a lot to do.
It also is easier on the eyes for everyone as looking at the Google "normal" size at least to me it looked a little small. In fact for some people with poorer vision especially often as folks get older as you know it my even enable them to read a blog which they could not before with the smaller font.
Finally it also is related to the only other point we need to cover today which is advertising, and if you are also using Google Blogger as I am I have some good news about a new development in the past ten months while I was AWOL.
2) And yes that brings us to point #2 here which is that at least Google has decided to let people have more advertising space to make more money that is shared with Google. I missed this notice for some time but if you are using Google maybe you may find it and see that Google now is allowing a choice of running larger ads, ones where you get to custom choose the size, and also I learned practicing with another web site to let you more ads per page.
We are not going to review all these choices today because Google says they add up to something like 15,000 new choices! Now remember this is for Google's "Adsense" which you apply for and should get in at no cost if you have done a few posts on your blog. It is okay to use mine as a model if you wish.
I am going to sign off in a moment and see what more and bigger ads I can get on the blog that look alright of course. For those actually following along and doing this rather than just reading for kicks or because they are told to or something like that, if there are some of you I realize you might have Tumblr I think or Wordpress or lots of other ways to do a blog. I am not familiar with those so you will have to decide for yourself if this is helpful with those or you may well find others who have written blogs on writing blogs just to help people out.
3) The last thing you budding bloggers should know is that I am going to try out adding a post or two more and maybe a couple "gadgets" here so the page can hold more ads, and for all I know Google may let one put more ads on the page at least with Adsense if there are more posts to place ads around. I also know you cannot go crazy with that as I think Google might let you put about five or six or the bigger ads at most and then possibly a few of the "link" ads which are just the words underlined going across the page depending on the subject of your blog.

Okay everyone who is doing it along with me go ahead and give it a try before next time which I am pretty sure should be less than ten months. I will set my alarm clock this time.
